Olga’s work aims at improving the well-being of individuals and the cohesion of today’s society. She is a renowned public speaker and provides talks and trainings on developing the potential of individuals, groups, and organizations.
She conducts rigorous academic studies in the domains of neuroscience and psychology to promote evidence-based policy making in the domains of education, conflict resolution, and healthy ageing. She (co-)authored over 50 publications on these topics. She has long-standing expertise in conducting scientific studies, leading multi-national teams, and training people from various backgrounds.
After her last position as guest professor in psychology at the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), Olga is still associated with TUD, and also with the University of Geneva, and the Laboratory for Peace at the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution, George Mason University, VA. Olga holds a PhD in Psychology (summa cum laude) from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Olga has a meditation practice since 2008, including regular silent retreats of up to 6 weeks.

Olga is the leader of Workpackage Emotion in the Medit-Ageing/ Silver Santé Study.
In this workpackage, she is investigating how mental health and well-being can be promoted through mental training in the ageing population. The particular focus is on the role of emotions, their malleability and their underlying brain function.
